TYLERT,
IDONO about the political theory, but I do I appreciate your effort to inform; however, they will not listen. Our culture's "religious" leaders (
not the real Church,
though many compromise with them) apply vain standards of right and wrong. In the Bible, it is what was called "doing right in their own eyes." It is an obvious result of asking God to get out of our schools and court rooms. We want Him to be how we have decided He should be. It is what happens when we forsake what God calls evil and make our own decisions to call others evil. It is the same motivation that Jesus, Light of life, faced on the streets of Jerusalem. When we disconnect ourselves from the one real truth, we grope in darkness and actually fight against the real truth.
We have gotten ourselves in this mess by sitting quietly (
not so much you) as moral values have been compromised away. I fear, as a nation, we do not have the gravitas, nor will, to correct it. That will be painful, not only for those who truly care, but also for those still groping in darkness and "kicking against the prick."
I hate being so grim, but I also hate our putting all the younger generations in this position. Such a shame.
