    What are the odds?

That once Obama nominates a replacement supreme court justice, that the Rino majority in the senate will vote to confirm him or her before Obama leaves office? Because of the success that Trump is having, I think that there's actually a small chance that a few Rino's might grow a set of gonads and tell the establishment Republicans to pound sand if they're "ordered" to vote to confirm, and I fully expect the Republican establishment to push for confirmation. What say you?

They say they won't and sound firm, but this is how we end up with a Trump... they probably will.

What's really bad is that if Trump is
elected, there's a good chance he will appoint Obama's nominee any way. Republicans suck with nominees.

I disagree 100% with the highlighted. Trump doesn't even think Obama is a legit, qualified President much-less nominate the screaming liberal that Obama might nominate.

I doubt Trump has a clue of what he's looking for since he doesn't see the world as left vs right. Hopefully he will consult conservatives for advice and not the brilliant Clintons. I would be very confident with Cruz nominating.

Tump will make Cruz the nominee. It fits perfect with his negotiating style. So I am willing to bet the Rinos will cave and confirm Obamas nominee.

That would be standard operating procedure for them.

Ted would be a very good nominee. Judging by who Trump has said would make a good pick in the past, if those of you who claim to be conservative are not at least a little worried, I don't know what to tell you.

Ted couldn't get confirmed...no way, no how.

Why would anyone have confidence that Trump would nominate someone with Scalia's view of the Constitution?

How can they not? They have already been hoodwinked into thinking Trump's a conservative.

Trump is kicking ass because so many people are sick of career politicians in Washington. He's more conservative than the establishment Republicans in congress have proven to be.

No he isn't. He's a common sense, flexible, deal maker in his words. Sounds a lot like Boehner to me.

What's the good of a spine if you have no principles? Tell us to go to hell because he can make universal health care work? Tell us to go to hell because Pelosi has it right?

    Re: What are the odds?

You seem to think Trump will be king and be able to do what ever he wants. Trump will have to convince the congress to pass whatever he wants to pass. I believe the establishment will make it difficult for Trump to get what he wants, that's why expectations are low except immigration since the wall is already law. When Trump repeals Obamacare, he will replace it with something better and not single payer. Trump is a fighter and will get the majority support for what he wants to do or he will work with anyone to get what he thinks is best for America not the ****ing establishment. He already has the establishment and China scared shitless that he will actually change the status quo.
