What good that run did UNI if another school is getting credit... NIU is playing in the Vegas 16 with us!
Yikes, I started it with the wrong team. My mistake. UNI is Northern Iowa - NCAA. NIU is Northern Illinois playing with us and ODU in the Vegas16.
On a similar thought - Just this morning, I checked the NIT bracket for the first time. UAB lost at BYU in the first round last Wednesday night.
Tech and ODU may be the only C-USA teams still in a tournament, but I really don't care enough to verify that. My attitude as a diehard basketball fan is that the only tournament(s) that matters is the NCAA tournament and the tournament Tech is in. None of the others matter. For most fans, only the NCAA tournament matters.

My last Final 4 team went down when Kansas lost. Guess I'll watch some UNC/ Notre Dame and dream of what might have been. Since I'm so good at picking I'm going with ND and hope they benefit from my kiss of death.

I didn't even fill in a bracket this year because I had not watched much ball other than TECH.
But it has been fun. I saw Syracuse in the first round and told my son that team could win it all regardless of their seed... So I have pulled for the Orange and it has been a blast.
Sometimes I think it would be more fun for each year for me to get a feel for the tournament and then just bet on the less regarded team that impresses the most.
I had UNC beating Oregon in the final, in my bracket. I can still get the NC right. But, little else. The way Nova is playing, I'm leaning toward them winning Monday.
The semis were horrible, for a neutral fan. Blowouts suck. Hopefully, it'll be good game in the final. OT, baby! that would be awesome.
