I care because it means $$$$$ to our bottom line -
REVENUE UNITS ARE HUGE TO CONFERENCE COFFERS
''Don't be a bad dagh..."
WTG MUTS!
This is already and will continue to be a crazy tourney. Look for more "upsets." Maybe no one seeded higher than a 5 will reach the FF. Wait! there probably won't be anymore 5s left after this weekend.
Of the chalks, I like Oregon (team defense), Kansas, and UNC. But I hope they, and every other "elite" team, gets beat! Was at the FF in Houston when Butler and VCU made it. Some of the talk around town that week was disappointment because two "mid-majors" made it. Well....they each won 4 games, over so-called "power" schools to get there. Hello!
I hope the entire FF are so-called "mid-majors."
Arizona, Michigan State, Baylor, Purdue, California, Oregon State, and Texas Tech are all mid-majors.
This article states conference receives about $1.67 million credit per win, spread over six years (or $260,500 per year).

Wow!!
Good for CUSA but I dislike the directional school.
If they win a few I would think that would be huge in getting a second look for the conference next year.
I know folks who live in Tennessee and Middle is a very-well respected school there.
Do schools and conferences still earn "basketball units" for NCAA wins??
Thank God we didn't play SFA this year. They would have killed us.
