Baseball. @LATechBSB to Open C-USA Play Friday at UAB

Louisiana Tech (9-4) is set to begin its third season of Conference USA play and will kick off its conference slate on the road for the second year in a row as the Bulldogs travel to face UAB (6-11) in a three-game series in Birmingham, Alabama.

7-0 UAB. Clancy hasn't been the ace we have been used to the in this game and against LSU

I think they need to move him back to the bullpen until he can get his control back. You can't walk that many guys and expect good things to happen. I think UAB scored 6 runs in the first inning. That's a large hole to start off in.

Top of the 7th. 7-6 UAB. Tech runners at 2nd and 3rd after a sacrifice bunt. Washam to pinch hit. UAB to change pitchers.
He has been pitching in mid week games but, there has been a nice break with the weather that he should be fresh. But it could be that the break threw him off rhythm.
Nice hit to right field by Washam. Brings in two runs and the lead 8-7

Diaz pops up a bunt and caught by the catcher.

Avi8r, you left out the best part of the story--the Dogs were down 7-0 before charging back to 8-7. Come on Bulldogs-this would be a huge win!
