Not much talk about our first opponent in the Vegas 16 (8?)......... I have to admit that I had never heard of ETSU and had to look them up. I kept waiting for the write up on the Vegas 16 Official Site, but they have not reached the write up on us or them. I looked at their schedule. They beat Georgia Tech early in the season and got to the finals of their conference tournament, where they were beaten by the #1 seed Chattanooga.

Not sure about the conference strength at all. It appears that it should be a win for us, unless we play like we did against ODU.

I agree with you. Saying that, we have done pretty well in NIT tournaments. Different team this year, but I am hoping Hamilton is hungry.

Here's the dumb post of the month!

Yes, we (not YOU apparently) Tech fans will get behind our teams no matter the situation. Just like the New Orleans Bowl, no, playing a Belcher is NOT the ideal bowl opponent, but when the game was set I was 110% behind MY Dawgs!!! And I was there screaming my lungs out. Because that was MY team playing.

So, the Vegas 16 is not the Big Dance or even the NIT, but this is where we are, and I am 110% behind the Dawgs to win this thing. We have gotten extra practice and we are still playing, in March, unlike about 250 other Division I schools.

Guess you can watch Housewives of Atlanta....

AMEN! I am excited to see us play again - regardless of the tournament. Plus, I like the sound of the Vegas 16 over the pay to play tournaments. This could be fun. Wish I could make the trip to Vegas to watch.
