Baseball. LA Tech Defeats Trojans, 7-4, in Little Rock

Louisiana Tech Baseball will keep its bags packed as the Bulldogs prep for four road games in the next five days, beginning with a 6 p.m. midweek matchup Wednesday against the Trojans of Little Rock at Gary Hogan Field in Little Rock, Arkansas.

C-USA has 7 Top 100 RPI baseball teams right now. We are just outside at 102. That makes 8 of 12 in the Top 102. Compare that to only 2 of 14 C-USA MBB teams that finished in the RPI Top 115.
I hope we make the conference tournament.
Certainly a step up for our baseball program in year 2 of the rebuild. It won't be easy. Winning 2 this weekend will keep us on track.

I've been thinking a tad over .500 in conference might be good enough. That's why I said it would be good to win 2 this weekend...getting us back to .500.
If we could make the tournament that would be an awesome improvement. I still remember a few years back when we hosted and didn't make it. Talk about embarrassing.
