Baseball. @LATechBSB to Host FIU in C-USA Play

After spending the past two weeks on the road, Louisiana Tech Baseball returns to Ruston to open a nine-game home stand with a three-game Conference USA series against FIU beginning Friday at J.C. Love Field at Pat Patterson Park.

Baseball. LA Tech Bats Silenced in 1-0 Loss to FIU

Despite impressive performances on the mound by both Louisiana Tech and FIU, the Bulldog hitters struggled to get the bats going against FIU as the Panthers shut out LA Tech, 1-0, in the low-scoring series opener Friday night at J.C. Love Field at Pat Patterson Park.

Tough tough lose. But, if I'm the coach, I'm encouraged. Rather lose 1-0 than 15-7.
Pitching is much much tougher to get figured out, the hitting will come back around pretty quickly.

Louisiana Tech's Cameron Linck was lights out on the mound and received some run support with the help of back-to-back home runs by Cody Daigle and Chase Lunceford as the Bulldogs defeated FIU, 6-1, Saturday afternoon in front of 1,273 at J.C. Love Field at Pat Patterson Park to even the series.

Unusually excellent year in Louisiana baseball. USL, McNeese, NSU, SLU, UNO, Tulane, LSU are very very good and Tech is much much improved.
