Looking at Brooke's time at NW State, one thing stands out - she prepares her team well for tournaments. Finishing 4th in the conference and winning the conference tournament twice says a lot for how she is able to get her team ready for the post season. I want to win regular season championships, but I grow weary of the conference tournament every year in men's and women's basketball. It is time that we have a coach that can get her team ready and "up" for the NCAA bid!

IF she can keep our current players here and a couple of recruits, she will start out with some talent to build from. Hoping she can do that! However, even if she can't keep everyone, she is a great recruiter and may pick up some late recruits that can fill out our roster for this year - even if she needs to go the JUCO route first.

Whatever it takes! Just do it! Love the hire.

She had all the players stand up toward the beginning and led the crowd in a round of applause for them. She teared up several times, especially during the "thank you's" and made a huge point about the Lady Techsters not being "broken". It was an inspiring speech and very heart warming.

She is very genuine. Brooke is not only an outstanding coach, but also an outstanding person. She was very popular in Natchitoches and brought new fans into the program. I have no doubt she will be very successful at La. Tech.

Standing out to me also was she mentioned we'd do footwork drills every day. Brooke said the ladies may feel like they're "12 year olds in camp" but they were going to protect the ball. Mentioned that twice. 9 Techsters there, dont remember seeing Davenport, hope she stays with us.
