    NFL 2016 Draft

Well here goes. Not the way I would have pick them but that shows what I know. I wanted a top guard this year around the 3 round on. The Saints were the only solid 'A' rated team in the draft per sbnation.com.
Feel free to post others guys.

    New Orleans Saints

1 (12). Sheldon Rankins, DT, Louisville
2 (47). Michael Thomas, WR, Ohio State
    2 (61). Vonn Bell, S, Ohio State
4 (120). David Onyemata, DT, Manitoba (Canada)
7 (237). Daniel Lasco, RB, Cal
Best pick: Bell - You can argue about Bell's fit on the defense with Kenny Vaccaro andJairus Byrd on the roster. But Bell is too much of a playmaker in the pass defense to not get on the field.

Questionable pick: Onyemata - Moving two fifth-round picks to get Onyemata was a surprise because Andrew Billings was still available.

Everyone knew the Saints were going to get Sheldon Rankins in the first round. He's a dynamic defensive lineman who can cause disruption up front. He's an instant starter for New Orleans. Adding wide receiver Michael Thomas in the second round gives the Saints a big body wide out with good hands. He'll remind Saints fans of Marques Colston. Onyemata was a little bit of an unknown until the East-West Shrine Game. He's a raw player who was picked when several known talents were available at defensive tackle. Seventh-round pick Daniel Lasco raised eyebrows at the combine with some big workout numbers. He can stick on special teams and as a backup running back.

    Overall grade: A

More. I personally like the cowgirls draft as well but still hope they bust vs. what they needed.

    Sheldon Rankins

    12th overall

DT, Louisville; Round 1, Pick 12
“Rankins is the best three-technique, which is a defensive tackle in a four-man front. He will be a sub-package interior pass rusher and one of the better ones in this league. What he does best is pick a gap and go. He’s one of the quicker defensive tackles we’ve seen in the last several years.” — Mike Mayock, NFL.com

    Michael Thomas

    47th overall
WR, Ohio State; Round 2, Pick 16

Thomas fills a clear need for the Saints as an outside receiver who can also move inside — he’s a physical presence on the field from the slot to the boundary. He was most likely debited for his lack of deep speed, but just as they once did with Marques Colston, New Orleans finds a way to use tough receivers who don’t burn through vertical routes. — SI.com
    Vonn Bell

    61st overall
FS, Ohio State; Round 2, Pick 30
Jairus Byrd has been a mammoth bust in the Big Easy, and Bell could be his replacement sooner than later with his coverage abilities. He does everything from curl/flat to deep seam routes, and faces up well against the run. Great value here on a first-round talent. — SI.com

    David Onyemata

    120th overall

DT, Manitoba; Round 4, Pick 22
Intriguing, ascending prospect who garnered the attention of several teams at his pro day, and Onyemata did not disappoint. His combination of pure power and explosion could have teams considering him as early as the second day, but he still needs more coaching and experience before he ever plays at that level. Onyemata has the potential to become an eventual NFL starter on the interior. — NFL.com
    237th overall

    Daniel Lasco

RB, California; Round 7, Pick 16

One*-year wonder who put himself on the map with a strong, overall performance in 2014 but suffered through a hip injury in 2015 and was unimpressive when he played. Lasco has some positive physical traits ... but his lack of vision and inability to run with consistent physicality will be challenges when it comes to making an NFL roster. — NFL.com
