    Pitchers like Jim Palmer, Mike Cuellar, Mike Flanagan and Steve Stone help mightily with offensive strategy.

    And Dave McNally. The Orioles had great starting pitchers during those years. Great offensive team also except in the '69 Series against another very good pitching staff.
