Ok. How about some of you young turks applying. However, I didn't see that being a Tech Alum was a qualification which it should be.

For some reason I was thinking you were in your 20's. I probably just assumed it because your dad is such a well known poster.
My wife and I are both have our B.S and M.S. For Tech and she has applied for jobs that is very qualified for. Once was passed over simply because they gave the job to somebody on campus because they could just transfer them from one department to another, and it didn't cost them a pay raise. Oakes decision. Person pnly stayed in the position a couple years and moved back to academic side. The position has had several people cycle through it in the last 10 years.
If they would realize (especially for the low pay comparatively for most positions) that if they would hire some Tech people (with the skills) into some of these support positions there would be stability.
