Inability to record one out before they scored nine in the 2nd. Thats a tough one. Score 12 runs, and I think we all expecrted a win. These guys never give up though.

I listened to every minute of this game which totaled almost 4 hours. This Bulldog baseball team is a direct reflection of its head coach--never, never, ever will they quit! We had a great chance to go ahead in the top of the 9th but today it was not meant to be. I am so proud of this team and their coach! Mark Kramer did a great job of calling the game on the radio and is a very capable replacement for the legend.

They out played us 1/3 of an inning. Have to give them credit. They hit the ball to do it. Missed call at the plate, and a double play with the bases loaded. Baseball can be a cruel sport. Many teams would have been beat by 10 ten runs today, but not our guys. Have a feeling we'll be seeing this team again in two days.

1 two out error was the key. Make the easy catch and we are up 2-0 in the top of the 3rd. Can't do that to your pitchers.

It was ruled a hit, and the error was letting the ball get by him allowing the run to score. Off the bat I thought it was a routine fly ball and was surprised he had to play it on a hop. I don't know if he was shaded to right center or just didn't get a good read off the bat.

I'm getting back to work to get my mind off this game. I'm BEYOND proud of the fight in our team, but I'm salty as hell at the baseball gods right now. Try as we might, it just felt that the game didn't want us to win it after the 2nd inning.
