I know this discussion has been done, but I hate giving up an out every time we get runners on and no out (we scored two runs after I started posting this!)
I wonder if our coach uses the sac bunt to avoid double plays ?
"IF" you can bunt it moves runners into scoring position and eliminates the force. I'd say it's worked for us a lot this year.
And it worked again. 3-3 tie on a failed fielders choice.
TIED GAME!! Chandler Hall beats the throw home on a bunt by Bryce Stark to make it 3-3! Runners on 1st/2nd, still just 1 out!
