The ticket situation at MSU sucks - simply sucks unless I am missing something on their web page.

You can buy $50 general admission packs for all 4 days - seat not guaranteed. What's wrong with that?

I don't think the ticket situation is unusual, we just don't have experience with it. I was on the MSU website within 30 minutes of the announcement and the reserved seats were already gone. Went ahead and bought the all sessions general admissions package. It is what it is.

We plan to be at the stadium at least an hour before game time and hopefully earlier so we can get seats on the Dawgs side. While our game may not have the crowd of the MSU game in the afternoon I'm leaving nothing to chance.

Had to look it up to get the exact year, but I remembered Cal State Fullerton winning the CWS right after Rice did. CSF won the CWS championship in 2004. Then I saw that they also won the CWS in 1995, 1984, and 1979. They have won a baseball national championship in each of the preceding 4 decades. Hopefully, we can keep them from winning this season.

I can't find how many general admission seats they have available so it is hard to guess the numbers. Stadium holds 15K and all reserved seating is sold out for the tournament. I suppose we will know after 8:30 Wednesday morning when the individual general admission tickets go on sale. All this unless a person wants to spend $50 on a full pass. Not a bad deal unless you only want to attend one game.
