Sutton really carried the water for us today. That was just what the doctor ordered. I'm assuming CL is pitching tomorrow?
I expect Bristo. Either one of them will have a short leash from Goff.

If he is physically able, we will throw Seabold. He was our Friday starter most of the season.
He is probably going to have to be lights out for us, because our poor offense gives us little margin for error. Our head coach is stubbornly committed to the "grind it out" approach at the plate. I don't approve, but he obviously is not the slightest bit concerned with what I think.

Maybe so, but his team is controlling the tempo of the games. We have to somehow break out of the "grind it out" mode. But, on the contrary, I expect a record number of bunts from us.

Louisiana Tech pitching in Starkville Regional has been excellent. We have used 3 different starters and 3 relievers.
Here's some information about our 6 pitchers used to date.
Nate Harris has worked 3 straight days. He was on the mound Friday when the game was suspended and returned to the mound Saturday morning when the game resumed. He pitched 3 shutout innings today in the win over Cal State Fullerton.
Casey Sutton threw 121 pitches in yesterday's win over SEMO.

Maybe, but I watched that MSU-CSF game last night, and MSU didn't exactly run over CSF. It was a good game. CSF isn't near as good at hitting as LA Tech. So there's no reason to think MSU is gonna run all over LA Tech either.
Yeah they don't have any who are not good. Amazing that CSF is able to put that kind of pitching staff together...Amazing!
Problem is, Miss State is very good at hitting. We've had extraordinary pitching thus far in the regional. In fact, I think an argument can be made that our pitchers have performed better than any other staff in the regional up to this point. Something makes me think this game will be WIDE OPEN in terms of hits and runs.
