Best day of a Tech's students life in the 1980's was Thursday. 4 burgers for $1 at Griff's and the Tech Talk published the weekly sales for The Keg and M&M liquor stores.
Looking at that 1933 roster I see the heaviest guy was only 208 lbs Also note Dr. Thigpen there. For those of us who remember he was the head of the Mech. Engr. Dept. After Tech he went on to West Point. Also is that "Muddy' Waters (Tech hall of fame). I also recognize Hinton from the HOF and pehaps that's "Hoss" Garret.
No I am not old enough to have seen these guys play. I'm just remembering the HOF entries.

George Blue Hogg was my archery teacher in 1966 as well. I remember he could pin a swinging ping pong ball to a bale of hay across the gym court!
