Loved his rant. I knew lots of transfers were happening, but didn't realize the stats were that high.
What time on video is the rant?
The whole thing is good, and eye-opening about transfers. You really want to watch the whole thing. But if you have limited time it starts getting confrontational around the 13:20 mark. But it gets even more confrontational later at the 18:00 mark, and later again at the 22:00 mark.
Ended up listening to the whole thing. I had no idea that much transferring was going on and obviously has turned into a really big problem. Maybe the coaches around the country need to start talking about this more with the national media. Overall its hurting college basketball and I doubt the majority of transients are actually ending up in a better position on a better team.
Don't know what the solution is but know essentially the same situation has been happening more and more in the work place in the last several years. There's a large percentage of young people who are ready and willing to move on quickly as opposed to sticking it out and honing skills while gaining experience. Wonder how these transient millennials are going to handle the situation when they get into positions where they have to contend with the turn over.
