I'm sure Goff was aware of the attention he would receive for job vacancies, and when he said the following statement (see quote below), I hope "WE" included HIM on a long term basis. Will be interesting to see if Tech can come up with some money to keep him and whatever else is important to Goff.
"I told our administration this week, I think we are on to something. Hopefully, we can continue to recruit and bring in the right people to get to these type of venues and continue to play in the postseason. Hopefully, we've started a seed that can grow more than that."
Apparently not.

BREAKING: Greg Goff is expected to be named Alabama baseball coach, TideSports has learned
It's a sure thing when a coach we have makes these kind of comments-they will be gone. Tulane's coach pulled out of consideration along with East Carolina's coach, but not ours. Kind of hard to keep things going at our school with thr coaching merry-go-round, everytime we do anything. I feared this when Texas and Alabama released their coach after NCAA Tournament.
But but, I thought he loved Ruston.
Hope we can find another Goff.
Didn't Dykes play baseball? Maybe he can come back!
We hear that stuff all the time from coaches. It goes in one ear and out the other. When I hear someone say it I usually just roll my eyes.
