And...you guys just listed basketball players.
And...all three are three of the greatest to ever play.
This is baseball...and the guy played for part of two seasons.
Not that any of that matters. I'll take someone with some HC experience please. Thx.
I'm sure numerous names have been submitted, I just hope we stay in house for this one.

...but if we hire a guy from lsu the lsu fans might like us and we can be lsu fans too...by proxy.
Nothing about Andy Cannizaro excites me as a hire.

IMO, Rick McCarty would be a very interesting pick. He was heavily involved in Tech's signing of the 21 juco's in the fall of 2015 that became the foundation for our 2016 run. McCarty also is a long time (2 decades?) diciple of Goff. So the guy knows how to recruit. Does anybody know why he left LA Tech for the same job (pitching coach) at Dallas Baptist? I know DB is a longtime college baseball powerhouse, so it may have just been an opportunity for McCarty to bolster his resume.
Ostrander and McCarty both look like great candidates.
I can't think of anything we've ever gotten from LSU that was any value. No thanks.
