Can't believe it has gotten to the point where I have to buy a special tv to watch tv. You guys are willing to work harder than I. I have tvs we bought in 2007 and the extended dish network package. All this other stuff seems like a ton of work/expense.

Direct TV was getting $103 per month for my daughter to keep it on Disney Junior for 8 hours a day... Now I'm not paying a dime, and can watch all of the shows on demand as I wish, for $450 upfront and nothing more for the last 2 years.

Thanks. Nothing has changed since the last time I checked. $40/mo for the least expensive DSL from AT&T. I get mixed reviews from my neighbors on AT&T.

Google's YouTube TV might be the best for sports when it arrives

    https://youtube.googleblog.com/

For a very affordable $35 a month, you can get all four of the biggest broadcast networks (ABC, FOX, NBC and CBS), as well as about 30 cable channels. No official release date was announced.
Sports Channels Included: ESPN, local Fox Sports or CSN, FS1, NBCSN, ESPN2, ESPN3, ESPNU, FS2, BTN, SEC, CBS SN, ESPNNEWS, & Golf.

This is the first one I've seen that has CBS Sport Network. Hulu might also have it.

YouTube is now available ... in 4 cities - NY, LA, SF, Chicago, Philly

This link compares channel lineups https://www.cnet.com/news/youtube-tv...eups-compared/

YouTube is the only one that has CBS Sports right now, but it doesn't have beIN.

But, But, if Tech games are televised/streamed via CLink is it really being broadcast? Maybe the expert will chime in.

Hulu Live TV is now available - it's on a limited number of devices, with more expected to be available.

I'm going to have to compare PSVue vs. Hulu once it's available on ROKU

Any opinion on DirecTV Now? I am looking at doing this in Shreveport but it is only 2 streams.

I haven't checked out DTV because it's not on Roku.

This spreadsheet (https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets...#gid=381384110) has a comparison guide of PSV/Sling/DTV.

For us, we had to figure out what channels we HAD to have, then found the best service. At the time, our choices were SLING & PS Vue. Vue won out.

Right now, I'm still choosing VUE - you get ALL 4 majors (KSLA (CBS) is Live, ABC/NBC/Fox are on demand).

For some time now CenturyLink has played around with the idea of their own live TV streaming service. They even at one point talked about reselling DIRECTV NOW in an effort to replace jump start the plan. Now it seems CenturyLink will build their own live TV streaming service using the Sling TV model. - See more at: http://cordcuttersnews.com/centuryli....HuAETHAq.dpuf
