Given it's Pat Summitt, I imagine there are journalists regularly checking on her condition and situation. Sports media and conventional news media alike. They probably decided to put it out there to quash the rumors and get some breathing room.

I really liked Pat Summitt.

Much respect for Pat and all she accomplished in the world of Women's sports. Those pictures of her and Barmore, once bitter rivals, then later as great friends, will always set an example of sportsmanship to me.

I was saddened by the news, but Pat knew and was known by her Lord. She is perfect now and in His presence. I will pray for peace for the family as they say goodbye.

I feel the past three months have not been helpful at all.

From what i have been told...she has no idea about the goings on of the past three months. she couldn't even remember people's names. Even the last time she was here, I understand that she recognized Leon, but wasn't sure who he was.
