It should be a school that teaches agricultural sciences along with a 2 year nursing program and a vocational education degree...nothing else. Of course, I'd turn it into a two-year school and trade school.

I have worked with a couple of teachers who graduated from grambling, while it is a small sample size, they were horrible teachers. So lets just keep it two-year and a trade school if we are making some changes.

should all be closed or have their missions reclassified to a true junior college system. 2 year associates or prepping kids for a University. Each one could be geared towards certain area(s). Shutting them down is the best way to direct money towards the rest of the ULS schools, but nobody will do that because it is political suicide. Reducing their mission would save some money, and give all these kids that aren't ready for the full 4 year university rigor and life a place to get their feet under them.
Wasn't the stat shown a year or two ago that about 50% of TOPS kids were failing out or losing TOPS after the first year? someone correct me if I am wrong there. That is a waste of money again.
No state has figured out education, but Louisiana goes out of it's way to bend itself over time and time again.

Southern has its own system. As MD pointed out, they are not in the ULS.
