Obama and his ex-aides were and still are delusional.

Rep. Crenshaw chides 'echo chamber' Obama aide Ben Rhodes for doubting US intel linking Iran to tanker attack

Rep. Dan Crenshaw of Texas slammed former top Obama adviser Ben Rhodes for questioning U.S. claims that Iran attacked oil tankers near the Strait of Hormuz and downplayed the threat from the regime.
Rhodes, a leading figure within the Obama administration who pushed for the 2015 nuclear deal with Iran, suggested the U.S. official assessment of the tanker attacks shouldn’t be taken for granted, saying only an international investigation can get to the bottom of the incident.

“This definitely feels like the kind of incident where you'd want an international investigation to establish what happened. Huge risk of escalation,” Rhodes said in a tweet.
This prompted a stark rebuttal from Crenshaw, the freshman congressman and former U.S. Navy SEAL officer, who blasted Rhodes for downplaying the danger posed by the Iranian regime and doubting the intelligence community.

“So, do or don’t believe the Intel community? And you’re not really a trusted source to weigh in on Iran,” Crenshaw wrote in a tweet. “You sold the public the falsehood of a moderating Iranian regime - using your media ‘echo chamber’ (your words)- & ignoring the true danger Iran presents in the region.”
“I’ve been watching for years as Iran moves weapons to proxies around the region, looking for opportunities to destabilize & wreak havoc, and then claim innocence. This is not new. And the Administration is right to strengthen our regional presence as a deterrence,” Crenshaw added.

REPORT: Iran seizes tanker carrying 'smuggled fuel'...

TEHRAN, Iran (AP) — The Iranian Revolutionary Guard seized a ship in the Persian Gulf suspected of carrying smuggled fuel, state media reported Sunday, marking Iran’s third seizure of a commercial vessel in recent weeks and the latest show of strength by the paramilitary force amid a spike in regional tensions.
State TV and the semi-official Fars news agency reported that seven crew members were detained when the ship was seized late Wednesday carrying 700,000 liters of “smuggled fuel” from Iran. The local reports did not provide further details on the vessel or the nationality of the crew.

The Persians are spoiling for a fight. They must think they have, or perhaps actually do have, Russia in their corner and will stand by them in a war vs. The West. Of course, they are also trying to provoke a reaction from the US/UK/The West so they can then play victim and gain sympathy and world support. But, just remember Iran = Persia. Their entire history has been one of conquest, starting wars...losing most of those wars...but trying again!

The Arabs don't like them, and certainly don't trust them, but "Iran" is a convenient ally when they are used to offset The West and of course, Israel. The ole: "the enemy of my enemy is my friend."

But, I can guarantee if it ever comes to pass that the nation of Israel no longer exists, and that oil ceases to be so important to the world's economy (two huge If's there), just watch, the Arabs and the Persians will be at war with each other. Right now they have a common enemy in Israel and those western nations that support Israel.

But eff "Iran"! I say place military resources there and next time they even so much as a approach a ship in international waters, blow their chit away! Look what has happened to those "scary pirates of Somalia." You don't hear anything from them since civilized nations put their foot down and deployed navy vessels to the region. The latest info I've been able to find is we are sharing the duty with other nations and usually the placement of a single frigate has been sufficient to keep the pirates at bay.

For instance, India has been very cooperative in this endeavor and recently (March-April of this year) the INS Kirpan, which is a corvette, a smallish frigate, with a single attack helicopter and an array of armaments, like the rapid-firing 4" cannon, started moving toward a group of boats thought to be pirates when a passing freighter radioed for assistance. When the Kirpan appeared on the horizon those boats made 180's and scurried back to shore. Why would the mere appearance of the Kirpan invoke such a reaction? Simple...because many Somalian pirates have been sent to Davy Jones' locker and they know the world is serious about stopping their crap.

Well...sink a few Iranian patrol boats, show 'em we're serious and watch how fast they melt away....

Very Biblically prophetic that Russia will have an alliance with Persia (along with other Islamic nations) in the "end days". And they both with the other islamic nations will try to take Israel down. But God is in total control and will protect and restore the Israeli hearts to Him even in the end.

US intel suspects Iranian cruise missiles hit Saudi oil facilities from Iraq base

    Sep 15, 2019 @ 21:0559US

US intelligence experts are studying satellite images and other video evidence to track the source in Iraq of the major attack on key Saudi oil facilities on Saturday, Sept. 14. Their first discovery was that cruise missiles rather than drones struck the Saudi oil refineries at Abqaiq, the largest in the world, and its second largest oil field at Khurais – both in the kingdom’s Eastern Provinces. They have also confirmed that the missiles were launched from a pro-Iranian Iraqi Shiite militia base, despite Baghdad’s denials.
DEBKAfile’s military and intelligence sources report that the investigation is also using video coverage by local Saudis showing multiple cruise missiles coming from the north and heading across the border towards the targeted locations in eastern Saudi Arabia. On one, a missile was clearly shown flying over the main border crossing at Hafar al-Batin and shot down by a Saudi air defense missile, although Saudi officials, in reporting the attack – large and disruptive enough to reduce the kingdom’s oil production by five million barrels a day, nearly half its output – have said nothing about intercepting any offensive projectiles. The two images carried at the top of this item show the wreckage of Iranian cruise missiles shot down near the Abqaiq processing plant.

The Persians are just being themselves, they can't help it. Their entire history has been one of imperialistic aggressive actions. Now...throw in the added zealous of radical Islam and you have an inescapable mix of demented loonies bent on world domination. They have the same ultimate goal as imperial Japan of the 1930's, Hitler's regime, and the Soviet commies: WORLD DOMINATION. (better watch the Chicoms too). This is nothing new.

The Persians also have a long history of conflict with the Arabs. So, as "the enemy of my enemy is my friend" rings true, this pending war will find Iran alone...with some behind-the-scenes support from Putin...and the US and our western allies will stand with the Arabs in this conflict. The Persians will find themselves in the same position they always do: soundly defeated in war, and they will crawl back into their holes and "behave" themselves until the next time they feel bold.

One year after the brave 300 made their immortal stand against the might of the whole Persian army, the situation changed. First, a combined Greek and Venetian navy crushed the Persian navy in battle, stranding 150,000 Persians on shore in Greece. Then a few days later an army of 60,000 Greeks, led by 10,000 VERY PISSED-OFF Spartans appeared wanting to avenge the brave 300. It was not a battle...it was slaughter. And after a few weeks of hunting down survivors it is written that every single Persian soldier, all 150,000, had been put to the sword. No survivors.

That is how we need to deal with the Persians today. No quarter given. No prisoners will be taken. Just kill 'em all.

Iran’s Rouhani: ‘We Are Enriching More Uranium than Before the Deal Was Reached’

Iranian President Hassan Rouhani bragged Thursday that Iran is now enriching more uranium than it was before President Barack Obama’s nuclear deal, formally known as the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA).
This boast would be a profound embarrassment for supporters of the JCPOA if true since Iran only abrogated the last few provisions of the deal a week ago.

“Pressure has increased on Iran, but we continue to progress. We have no limits on the nuclear file, and we are increasing enrichment every day,” Rouhani said in a televised speech.
Rouhani claimed Iran has been patient ever since the “unpredictable” President Donald Trump made the “mistake” of withdrawing from the JCPOA. He continued Iran’s efforts to blackmail Europe by saying he would consider returning to the limits established by the JCPOA if the Europeans “make up” for America’s exit.
“If they fail to do so, we will, in turn, reduce our commitments,” he said.
On Tuesday, France, Germany, and the United Kingdom rejected Iran’s claims that it was entitled to resume unlimited uranium enrichment and triggered the JCPOA’s dispute mechanism for the first time. This process could ultimately end with the U.N. Security Council voting to reimpose full international sanctions on Iran, adding to the already crushing burden from the U.S. sanctions restored by Trump.
Iranian Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif angrily denounced Europe’s invocation of the dispute mechanism as “legally baseless and a strategic mistake from a political standpoint.” Rouhani threatened violent attacks on European soldiers, much as Iran and its proxies have been conducting terrorist attacks against Americans, if Europe does not obey Iran’s demands.

“Today, the American soldier is not safe, tomorrow it could be the turn of the European soldier. You will suffer if you take a wrong move,” Rouhani declared.
