A horrible deal. The Iran government paid 400 million for fighter jets in 1979. We froze the payment and didn't send them them the jets. When the hostages were eventually released, our political leaders didn't deal with the the issue of Iranian cash that we froze. That became the subject of international arbitration in The Hague. We were going to at least owe them the payment plus interest, so please explain how this was a bad deal.
This is how you deal with the world's leader funding terrorism and death; and not with appeasement like Obama/Biden and Hillary.
US says no more sanctions waivers for importing Iranian oil
By MATTHEW LEE

The Trump administration said Monday that it will no longer exempt any countries from U.S. sanctions if they continue to buy Iranian oil, stepping up pressure on Iran in a move that primarily affects the five remaining major importers: China and India and U.S. treaty allies Japan, South Korea, Turkey.
President Donald Trump made the decision as part of the administration’s “maximum pressure” campaign on Iran that aims to eliminate all of its revenue from oil exports that the U.S. says funds destabilizing activity throughout the Middle East and beyond.
“This decision is intended to bring Iran’s oil exports to zero, denying the regime its principal source of revenue,” the White House said in a statement.

The Arabs need to muster their forces and deal with their historic Persian enemies.
They should but won't as America has enabled the Arabs and muslim countries just like we have the rest of the world. Recent examples are:
Obama ignoring ISIS (the JV team) when he could have slaughtered them on the roads those first few months.
Obama giving Iran $$billions.
Obama apologizing muslims for past "sins" of America.
Obama allowing tens of thousands of radical muslims into our country
Jimmy Carter's oil embargo
Clinton's Bosnia and Herzegovina war between 1992 and 1995.
Clinton's bombing of the aspirin factory and not actually going after OBL when he had him in his sites.
The Bush family and Saudi.
And so many more.
A British historian and military strategist (retired) now does a series on You Tube. They are analysis of historic battles, why things happened the way they did, what the losing side could have/should have done differently, etc.. Well, he just posted his analysis of this potential conflict of the US vs. Iran. It's entitled "Why Iran wouldn't last 3 days in an all-out war against the US." He has an animated portion of one of their soldiers who says, "I ran."
Iran's best planes are 40-yr-old F-14 Tomcats and MIG 29s. They are aged, lack spare parts, and never had the very best technology that was available even at that time. They do possess some potentially dangerous missiles, but their very best ones are all fixed sites, which means we will take them out with a first strike from our cruise missiles. Their mobile rockets are inaccurate, at best. They do have some decent radar, Russian built, but they are all fixed-site, again will be taken out by our Wild Weasels, and they are confined to their border, and a few sites around Tehran. Their best radar does not protect their military bases.
I missed it if y’all already posted about Iran restarting Uranium enrichment in response to Trump pulling out of the deal.
