    This article is laughable.

It makes no mention of McClelland moving the Arkansas game from a semi-away site in Little Rock to a true road game in Fayetteville. How many thousands of fans in the stands did Tech lose with this deal, and how many thousands more Hog fans were put in the stands with this move? Arkansas was gifted a big advantage with this deal. Was Tech paid for the move, or did McClelland let Arkansas move the game for free?

It's intellectually dishonest about the Texas Tech for Texas A&M deal. "Tech dropped Texas A&M, picked up Texas Tech for $800,000." The article fails to mention the $500K buyout we had to pay for the Texas A&M game and the $200K return trip game guarantee Tech forfeited. That's $700K that Tech gave up for the switch so the truth is Tech only nets $100K between the contracts, and in real dollars it's significantly less than $100K when you factor in increased travel costs, significantly fewer Tech ticket sales, much less exposure, etc.

I don't see how somebody could write an article about the 2016 schedule changes and ignore those major details.
The NS article I read spoke of all those things

Not the details. It only "spoke" of what Isabella was told by somebody who works in the TAC basement. No source = BS reporting. Isabella does that a lot.

True, but the article seemed to imply that those were questionable decisions. My interpretation may be due to my preconceptions.

My interpretation was that Isabella spent his 3rd article so far on making excuses for our AD's inept decision making without one single document being show to back up the BS. Today he spent no telling how much time seeking documentation on our Higgins DUI and breaking his neck to tweet about it.

For what purpose? Did RPD inform the press of Higgins' arrest? If so, was any emphasis given to the incident and/or was it reported in the same method as any DWI arrest?

Arkansas never intended to play Tech in LR. If they told our AD that, they were lying. They only play one game a year in LR now and none will be played there after 2018.

I guess this means that nulum won't have a home game in LR anymore!

Our game was scheduled for LR many months before they scheduled a SWAC team to be played in LR and moved ours to Fayetteville.

At the time we mightve been their "easiest" game. It was probably under consideration until a better option came along. I dont think they'd have gone through with it and played us in LR unless they had a more stacked OOC, instead of a bad Sun Belt team and a SWAC team.

We will never know unless somebody like our beat reporter asks to see and then prints a copy of the original contract. Why does this administration refuse to disclose normal information?

Stadium in LR is a POS and only holds 50,000. Maybe we became a bigger draw and they felt they could fill the stadium. The way Tech has played the last few years maybe they thought Tech fans wanting to enjoy a nicer venue and larger crowd. I will be there.

Actually it's not that bad, it's nicer than Independence Stadium. War Memorial Stadium isn't new or fancy but its very functional. The city has done well in the upkeep. Recently, they hosted a DCI competition and it's home to a new soccer club. Also, the tailgating scene is way better in LR than Fayetteville.

They wanted to move all games to their campus for a long time. I don't blame them. I would rather have all games played in Ruston than Shreveport.

War Memorial is fine. I used to go there every year in High School.

War Memorial PARK = City of LR
War Memorial STADIUM = State of Ark

But your point stands. It's no dump. It's used regularly for high school games, semi-pro sports, and junior college football.
