She introduced herself as Ashley Santos from the women's basketball program, thanked us for support through LTAC, looking forward to an exciting year in Tech athletics, thanked again for support, closed with an energetic "GO DOGS."

Really cool idea! Football's a month away, women's and men's basketball events (got these in priority order for Maddawg) ten to eleven weeks away, pressbox plans rolling:

Very nice! Might take away some of the fun of lighthearted digs over wbb, but you're true blue for sure. Definitely great for us to have such quality and class as WBB HC.

I got a call from a volleyball player. 45 seconds. Thanked me for buying tix. Thanked me for being a fan. I was waiting for an ask . . . "Have a great day."

I actually was ready to buy something from her, but her short, sweet message spoke volumes.

PS-Then an hour later I received a call apparently from a survey/poll crew representing Univ. of North Carolina. I lied and said I was not a part of any media group, so I could hear the spiel.

I was asked a multitude of questions lasting approximately 30 minutes, covering how I perceive them vs. Stanford, Duke, Harvard and Georgia Tech (Georgia Tech?), How do I hear about UNC in the media, How do I perceive UNC, Did I know about the UNC athletics dept./academics cheating scandal, Would I attend UNC? Would I recomment UNC to others?

Overall, even though it was lengthy, UNC is seeking answers about itself nationally and I was impressed overall.

Joniah White called me a couple days back to express appreciation for LTAC helping student athletes with their college expenses. He is excited to be cleared to play and is looking forward to a competitive year for the Bulldogs. Great gesture to the LTAC supporters from the students.
