I was thinking seriously about taking the wife to the game for the weekend since that's her birthday weekend. Was wondering if anyone else was making the trip. If so where are you flying from and where are you staying? I'm assuming it would be best to fly into Boston and I've found some cheap flights out of DFW.
You should definitely go. The Fall foliage will be at peak color in Massachusetts the entire week leading up to our game against UMASS. We're going up a few days early to tour the countryside before returning to Boston for the game.Originally Posted by SicemDawgz

We are trying to make it as well. I'm hoping it's the Alumni Trip for the year open to all.
I'm seriously considering this one. Just an excuse to get back to Boston to eat.

At one time Providence was a good bit cheaper than Boston primarily because Southwest flew into PVD and the other airlines had to compete. Easier airport to get in and out of also.
This is true. If this game is in Foxboro (which I seem to recall), the game is probably about 10 minutes closer to Providence than it is to Logan Airport in Boston.
I heard the Alumni Association unveiled a $1,000 travel package to this game yesterday.
