    Let's talk WBB for 2016-17!

This Forum has been quite all summer!
When the last coach was hired there was excitement all Year…
Now with Brook installed as the new head Coach, there’s hardly been a pepe!

Right now we have 10 players eligible to play this year, I admit, that might change with an addition of a scholarship player or possibly a walk on

At any rate I would have to assume the lineup might look like this for Fall 2016…

    1. Anthony, Lang
    2. Santos, Vasquez
    3. LeBlanc, Mcleod
    4. Cleaver, Gibson
    5. Malone, Molten

I am thinking that Santos and Cleaver have about a 99% chance of starting in the list.
The others could change definitely, with my limited knowledge of the ability of Malone, McLeod, and the Freshman Lang is all insufficient!
Anyone with more knowledge about the players willing to make a prediction on possible starters for the beginning of the season?

It has not been announced; however, Daria McCutheon 5'8 guard from Texas and Ashlyn Reid 5'6 guard from Texas will be on the team this year. Both were committed to Northwestern, but chose to follow the Stoehrs here. There could also be another addition as well. Reid is a point guard and McCutchoen is a combo guard with excellent on -ball defensive skills.

Great news, as it will really help with the depth issue. I am VERY excited to have Brooke back and leading this team!!!!

I can't say what the W-L record will look like this year. But, what I can say with 100% certainty is we have a coaching staff who will do it right. Regardless of the number of "W's" we will be proud of the effort, and more importantly, of the culture of the program. All the truly important things: academics, proper conduct, hard work will be emphasized.

Brooke will elevate the program to the pedestal where it belongs.

Not by me. I was never in favor of the Boy Wonder. I did, however, express hope and faith in DeMoss. She proved to be a disappointment.

announced Monday the addition of three scholarship student-athletes to the Lady Techster basketball roster.

Former Arcadia High School star and Texas A&M transfer Shlonte Allen has graduated from College Station and signed a financial aid agreement to play her final year in Ruston. Allen will be joined by a pair of incoming freshmen in guards Ashley Reid and Daria McCutcheon, who both originally signed to play for Stoehr at Northwestern State.

Any news, fact or fiction? Would rather talk Techsters than football today. Any word on the verbal we supposedly got?

The verbal commitment Maceala Crone is a 6'1 Forward from Canada. Stretch Foward who can play inside and hit the 3 consistently. Fits in nicely with the Princeton offense that Brooke likes to run.

She's from Moose Jaw Saskatchewan. Played center, or centre as they say here, for the Canada U16 team. Good size at about 170lbs, or 77 kilos. Good get.
