"Injury prone" or bad luck?

Prone implies he was doing something he shouldn't have been doing...like going for extra yardage when he should have gone down. Prone also implies he has a weakness, like his knees are more prone to injury than other guys in his position. He has had some bad luck, but he hasn't done anything wrong. The greatest RBs in the history of football were "injury prone" by the definition some of you are using.

"Injury prone" gets thrown around too much. Paul Turner was injured during much of his time at Tech. He was often referred to as "injury prone". He had one injury while at Tech.

Being fumble prone hurt hurt Dixon's draft stock not being injury prone.

You have absolutely NO WAY of knowing that for certain. That said, I don't see why that would matter anyway. Hurt is hurt. He's no good to the team if he's hurt.

nothing with the human body is certain. But the statement I made was a pretty safe one. And you're right. It doesn't matter...which is why I don't understand why people are discussing it in relation to this injury. 99% of people in place of KD would have the same injury.
