Rummel 17 Jesuit 10 (6-0). Real struggle tonite.
Rummel 22 Martin 27 (6-1)
Exposed. Team lacks speed. Still, lost this one with 40 seconds left when a DB had both hands on a pass, should have been an easy INT. but he bobbled straight to a Martin WR for the GW TD. Ugh! Stupid way to lose a game. All kinds of goofy things happened, including missed calls by the refs that hurt. But, the bigger picture is this Raider team simply is not championship caliber. No trip to the Dome this year.
Next up....Curtis. I expect to see a great effort by the Raiders, to compete. But, I suspect we'll be 6-2 after next week.
Rummel 17 Curtis 31 (6-2)
Turnovers are killers. Scored tied at 17 in 4th qtr then back to back turnovers. Ugh! Curtis is the better team this year. Will probably win State.
Rummel 7 St. Aug 20 (6-3)
More fumbles. Beats anything I've ever seen. Smashed a school record for turnovers committed for a season. A dubious accomplishment. Limping into the playoffs.
Got to give a shout out to my Logansport Tigers, Undefeated in the regular season and Kevin McGee has them ready to party like it's 1995.
I see a showdown between Haynesville and Logansport. History has not been kind to my Tigers in this series but they are really good this year with some nice wins up in class.
Haynesville and Oak Grove appear headed for a semi showdown
Looking for Kentwood and Logansport in the other semi
