Maton is HAVING a great year...still pitching. He got the save Saturday to send El Paso to PCL championship series. They start Tuesday at home against OKC in best-of-5.

I went with OmahaDawg last night to a reception in advance of the Triple A National Championship game which is being held tonight in Memphis at Autozone Park, home of the Memphis Redbirds. I got to meet Phil Maton and he seems a good fellow who does love his alma mater. Good luck to him and the El Paso Chihuahuas as they take on the Scranton/Wilkes Barre RailRiders.
