In a press conference held at the CenturyLink Center in Bossier City on Tuesday, it was announced that Louisiana Tech will be taking on Grambling State at the 14,000-seat arena on Dec. 17 in the first annual SB Holiday Men’s Basketball Classic.

Well, looks like it's on, so just make the best of it.
This is that 3-game thingy that was mentioned some months back, right? As I recall Centenary will play someone, NSU plays ULM, and we play GSU, right? Well, in that case, let's flood Bossier and the arena in a sea of blue. We are the BIG DOG on this block!
Of course, I know what'll happen. Tech fans will be in attendance for at least the 2nd half of the NSU-ULM game filling the arena, but very few of their fans will stay around for our game. Of course, especially in ULM's case, they have VERY FEW fans to start with!
Yeah...I know. This is NOT a good thing. Makes it look like we're in the same boat with these other North Louisiana schools. This is another example of Tommy Mac being in over his head, and exactly why I said he was a bad hire. He has too much of a "Southland Conference" mindset. BUT!!! it would be far worse for Tech Nation not to show up!

Agree. We should have tried to get SFA to come.
Maybe Grambling should have played NWST and we could have played ulm, at least they will be top 200 rpi. OR ulm play Grambling and we play NWST.
We can't complain about bad selections and media when we intentionally tank our own RPI and national perception.

I'm not making that drive. If we're playing in a bowl game that day, GEEZ. WHY do they insist on having a 200 lvl sos?
