I hope the MOB gets hold of this. This is some great material for them.

No, it's about branding. The branding was intended to sound out "Lah".
That works with La or even LATECH, but our dumbass people insist on the font LATech which is NOT the brand.
Easy fix...just don't use LATech, but like most democratic snowflakes, they doubled down after common sense request were sent in.
Now we are Los Angeles Tech.
Why is this so hard to grasp? People don’t say or write V-Aye Tech, T-X Tech, C-Aye Tech, or G-Aye Tech? Why would you say it or write it El Aye Tech. I have said all along, for me, it always is and always will be Louisiana Tech when I say it and La Tech if I am writing out shorthand because that is the only other way I ever heard it until about 2014. They may have been pushing it earlier, but I never heard it until then. And I live and work in Ruston and have for all but 2 years of my life.

It’s La Tech not L-A Tech
I hate LAH Tech. Seems as if we're the only school with Louisiana in the name that has ended up being branded LAH. You don't hear LAH State University. Or, University of LAH Lafayette or Monroe. Why the hell can't we just be Louisiana Tech. That's not hard. LAH LAH LAH...

Lol the guy reading the promo on beIN Sports called Louisiana Tech "L A Tech"
The guys on the Fox Sports Radio Network show (not the local 97.7 guys) this morning got it right.
(And all but one of then had LA(h) Tech covering the 19.5 spread.)
We got El A Tech'd by the DJ at the LSU basketball game.
