Yeah, stick it in the face of an important recruiting area, large alumni base and about the only place Tech can play a home game when the crowd size is too large to play at Joe Aillet.
In a few weeks the LSU Times may have to report how disappointed they are that the tiggers missed out on a bowl game. Meanwhile Louisiana Tech will actually be PLAYING in a bowl game. Heck, we could be the ONLY Louisiana team playing in a bowl game this season.
How many stories can they write about LSU when they lost 10-0? They can't talk about any LSU TD's or big plays....only disappointments. Who wants to read stories about their team not scoring?Did Isabella go on vacation? He hasn't published an article about Tech since 8:20 PM on Friday and nothing about Grambling since 2:05 PM on Friday. This weekend all we got was a pieced together wire report copied and pasted to our SID recap.
And of course The Times didn't send anybody 3 hours down the road to cover Tech in Isabella's place while Roy Lang drove 4 hours south to double cover LSU with Guilbeau.
Oh, and Ferrell featured the dumpster fire that is NWST hoops on the front page of the sports section in Sunday's paper. And then there's the special LSU section...

None doing TV or Newspaper. Some doing local/regional radio. Isabella is pretty loyal as long as he doesn't get tickets to the lsu game.
