Jimmy didn't bail on Tech. He is an employee. His employer hates Tech. They can print every article that Isabella writes if they want.

In Gannett's eyes, Sean is the beat writer for Louisiana Tech. He covers Tech, and The Times runs his stuff. We're not getting anything from Shreveport-based writers anymore.

There are five Gannett papers in Louisiana -- located in Shreveport, Monroe, Alexandria, Lafayette and Opelousas. They have set those papers up as "one newsroom" and they share resources. Reporters in Shreveport and Monroe are not going to compete against one another on the Tech beat like they did for years in the past. Instead, Shreveport will use Isabella's Tech stories. It's not that Jimmy or Roy are lazy when it comes to Tech. Their focus is elsewhere now. Occasionally, they might do a story on a local guy who is going to Tech, but for the most part Sean is going to be the only Gannett reporter covering the Bulldogs and Techsters.

I am sick of the way we are hidden in the Times aka this mornings Times compared to Montoe paper. In Times we given the same exposure as NSU. Look at Sports page in Monroe Paper. Big time coverage of Tech. LSU has a Town and Country section I understand. But NSU, Tech have same degree of coverage. Give us some separation.
