Higgins is what he's always been. A hard worker who is great in practice, but skiddish when the lights come on.
Higgins did show a very weak arm on a couple of occasions tonight. That's very concerning. That said, I'm still more concerned with the 11 guys on defense you can't tackle as well as a fifth grader. And I'm certainly concerned about our defensive backs who avoid wide receivers like they have the plague.
The replays were hard to watch. How many plays did we have 2 defenders run into each other and fall down? Like 8? 10? It was like watching the highlights in the baseball game on the movie The Naked Gun. It was difficult to watch.
Best thought post on this tread tonite Higgins..Higgins..how about terrble, terrible defense with Middle Tenn, WKU, not to mention USM coming up.
Very true. I've never seen any defense run into each other as much as our guys did tonight. It was Keystone cops all over again.
