Verbal committments just do not excite me anymore. It is like head coaches saying they love in Ruston.
Speedy 1* http://verbalcommits.com/players/kenneth-smith
Appleby 2* by some http://verbalcommits.com/players/raheem-appleby
Kyzer - 2* http://verbalcommits.com/players/michale-kyser
McCree - 2* by some http://verbalcommits.com/players/erik-mccree
Boykins - 2* http://verbalcommits.com/players/jacobi-boykins
I'm not sure that's fair.
MW was named head coach on March 30th. The signing period in 2011 was April 13th through May 18th.
EK was named head coach on May 18th. The signing period in 2015 was April 15th through May 20th.
EK re-recruited Derric Jean. Washington played a lot of minutes and will be much improved. The 2016 class has more potential than the 2011 class and the 2014 class (of course right now it's only on paper).
Kyser - had one offer - Lamar
Speedy had NO D1 offers
Appleby - had one offer - A-State (might of been UALR)

Or how lucky he was in catching 3 flies with one hand -
Outside of the big 3 and Hamilton there really wasn't much consistent high school talent recruited in his 4 plus years
Like it or not Konkol's recruits are higher rated than White's are and Mike had the luxury of literally NO EXPECTATIONS his first two years here
