For some reason, I had my hopes up that our defense would stop TTU...
That game really was a disappointment for me and dampered my expectations for the season!
( Note- they always tend to be quite lofty at the beginning of a season!)
Franklin's offense scares me and the QB for MTSU is pretty good...
Real possibility the Bulldogs will be 1-3 at the end of the game...

At the beginning of the 4th QTR JMar comes in and gets the last 2 TD's and is a perfect 7-7 passing!
I'm thinking we find some defense for the passing game this week (not great but better). Offense establishes the running game and moves deliberately. Combining the two, Tech is successful at keeping the Mutts offense off the field enough to limit their scoring production. Tech wins by 7.
Maybe 45 - 38.
Heck, just blitz. We're bound to stop them a couple of times. If more than 35 is scored on our defense, then our DC is a failure.
LA Tech better win this week over MTSU, or this entire season starts going down the toilet. A 1-3 start, with back to back games against UTEP and WKU in the bullpen, pretty much makes this MTSU game a "must win" scenario.
Because of this, I say the Bulldgs will win.........simply because they HAVE to.

Defense was embarrassed last week, and the coaches will be on them all week. Defense comes out motivated! We will get 2 turnovers, and I think Blake Baker takes a page out of Remember the Titans and "We blitz all night!"
Should see from 2014 season that we have to blitz and create turnovers or at least disrupt rhythm.
I don't think we have to win this game to "save the season". but if we don't win this game, we better beat both UTEP and Western Ky. at home. then we would be 3-3, 2-1 and all is well. a win Saturday would be nice but I don't see it. they throw it well, they are at home, and its our 3rd road game of four and our one home game probably didn't even feel like a real game to the players, given the delay and opponent. I hope for better but I will say MTSU 41, Tech 31

we win on a last second field goal.....MTSU outplays us from the start but we luck up and get a couple of their turnovers to keep it close enough. Higgins choo choos for 250 yards through the air
As long as we don't get in a hole early, we will be fine. I saw no quit in this team even last week.
