A 15% decrease? What a SHAME coming off of two consecutive bowl wins.

Not sure if a 15% decrease negatively moves our bottom line much from a revenue standpoint considering the increases contribution per ticket. BUT it definitely signifies a retraction in an important subset of our fanbase. AND considering the current climate in college football, now is the worst time to not be expanding our fanbase.

isabella wrote a piece but our AD refuses to discuss the obvious. He blamed HCSH for the schedule changes. It read like our AD wrote it. It's ironic that HCSH is now cracking on our ADs negotiating ability

No kidding! Anyone who keeps up with Bulldog football & basketball sees & realizes there's a problem with our scheduling. How can the media not look at our schedules and say what the heck is going on. Especially when we keep seeing peer schools coming up with infinitely better matchups and schedules.

Come on Tommy. We know we can do better than this.

Come on media. Are you apathetic, fearful or lazy?

The media sees nothing wrong. We aren't LSU, after all.

That's pretty good if that is all - I thought it would be more with his "genius" addition of $100 per ticket and a horrible schedule.

There was a lot of arguments made stating that most season ticket holders in the sections that would be affected by the new $100 requirement already were LTAC givers and would already meet the requirement. If you assume that is true, and also assume that some season ticket holders moved sections to avoid the $100 requirement, then that would mean you lost 15% of your season ticket holders with very little new revenue coming in from the $100 per ticket requirement.

So to sum it all up, TMac's plan raised minimal money but alienated 15% of season ticket holders. What a genious!!

    He knows that.

But he's sowing favors that he can call in when it comes time for his next career move.

There's little doubt that our AD is gearing up for the "big kill" next year on season ticket prices. If he went up on prices when we went down in the number of games this year, what will he do when we actually go up in the number of games? Seven home games next year! Although we show to open with NSU, I've heard we will open with MSU. It will be interesting to see how bad he tries to gouge the fans next year.

I don't think it's an effort to gouge the fans, so much as to run off the riff-raff.

JAS will be a stadium for the one-percenters, corporate sponsors, and golf-clapping blue-hairs. Under AD McSnob's vision, Saturdays at JAS will be roughly akin to Sunday brunch at Squire Creek.

I have to shake my head with people like our AD. He's risen to his highest level of incompetence at his last employer...but he blew smoke up some pant legs and moved up the ladder a notch. He's an empty suit that parades around as an AD.
I'm an asshole! What's your excuse?

I am in whole hearted agreement about TMac. He's had his chance and has failed miserably. We need to put as much effort into filling JAS as possible. If we do this for every game then maybe we wouldn't need two money games or maybe even one money game. This has to do with scheduling (home games) and winning with winning probably first. If we won every game then it probably wouldn't matter who we scheduled for OOC home games. I have stated many times before we shouldn't schedule a money game right off the bat. If we lose, it kills attendance for at least the first home game if not the first two. It is not going to rain this weekend and I expect only about 19000 to 20000 in attendance.

Can't keep the doors open without money games. Even if JAS was full for 6 Games every year.

I am hoping for and looking forward to the day we sell beer in JAS and the guaranteed bitching because of the inflated prices.

If we can't support our program without help from the big dogs how do we ever expect to be a big dog? How many seats can we sell? How much do the students pay for how many seats? I don't know and the administration isn't going to tell us. Hopefully Les Guice knows and will act soon to remedy the situation.
