I knew we were in trouble when I heard Ken Antees name annouced as the referee. He is a corrupt Tech hater who should NEVER be in one of our crews. Yes there were calls...the pass interference call on 3rd down stands out, but the non calls on them stand out the most.

I wondered about that 3rd down PI in our endzone. Didn't see anything at all on replay. Did anyone else?
The one that saved their drive? It looked more Offensive than defensive. Our guy barely touched him.
Yep. Without that PI, MUTS kick a FG and we are tied on our last drive. We could have kicked a chip shot FG for the last second win.
Horrendous PI call, that kept their drive alive. Then, to rub salt into our wound, that same ref allowed their DB to practically undress our WR in the end EZ.

Conference needs to look into their officiating.
There wasnt a hold called all game. The Pass Int was suspect, and lack of one on the other end which was far worse wasnt called. Very poor.
I thought the same thing. He's the only referee in college whose name I know and not in a good way.
There is a fine line between winning and losing a game like that. I thought we looked like the better team on both sides of the ball. Some of the things that kept us from winning were:
Tarzan's repeated drops
Poor contain leverage when rushing the qb.
Bad PI call against us on 3rd--as opposed to what the same guy chose not to call in the end zone on the last play
Questionable play calling with 1st and goal at the end of the game (too small margin of error). To me, this is exacerbated by our inability to score td's from the redzone in the first half.
Not putting the game away when we had chances to.
I thought Higgins played well for the most part. Henderson cannot stay healthy for whatever reason. I'd like to see McKnight in a wildcat scenario or at least an attempt to get it Taylor there at at the end.
Fine line between winning and losing.
Have you considered those Dogs?
Then why do we keep letting Antee officiate our games? My friend that is one of the top college referees in the country says a school can absolutely request for a specific officiating crew not work their games.
Our AD is out of touch.
Just curious, there's no way to keep him from working our games???
