I'm not a Higgins homer but don't know of a head coach that wouldn't take his #s, pt production & care of the football
Higgins is not the reason for last 2 losses
He didn't fumble on 2 yd line
He didn't call hurry up on goal line instead of just taking our time & running our T
He didn't make stupid play calls the last series of the game from the ten yd line
and He didn't play defense - which is the primary reason for last 2 losses

He was part of the fumbled handoff. I dont agree with handing it off that close to the line anyway.
He did not make those calls though. He did not allow the other team 31 2nd half points. He isnt perfect, but he's not the reason we lost.

My hot take- If he hadnt been an idiot and gotten the DUI, we'd have beaten Arkansas.

Agree, I am also not a Higgins homer but, if any of you people think that Holtz (or any other head coach in the nation) would bench a QB with those numbers, then you are smoking crack, pot and doing some ecstasy all at the same time.

That's a great point. Winning is contagious, and so is losing.

By the way, regarding these "wonderful stats', everyone seems to want to quickly dismiss the fact that these stats were compiled against 3 of the worst defensive teams in America (TX Tech, SC St & MTSU). Look it up.
