Trump's best debate, imo... but that's a very low bar. People who want substance will like Hillary, people who heard Trump say she talks good, but has a terrible record may consider him.

This was the first debate I've seen Trump in. If that was his best debate, God help him. He sounded like he was trying to out liberal a liberal. But I can only say sounded like, because he wasn't make a damned bit of sense. He was incoherent. He was repetitive. At times he couldn't finish a sentence.

Nope. Trump was allowed (and often did) to take the questions in any direction that he wanted to. He was not prepared and it showed.
As the debate was closing, his interns tweeted from his account a list of topics that he could have steered the debate towards but for some reason failed to.
