But, still, the moderator's questions were almost ALL attacks on Trump. Only one on Hillary and it was only to ask her if she made a mistake on the email thing. She said yes, and the moderator moved on. He could have followed up with much more tough questions, like he did on Trump, but did not.
But, yes, he failed the debate. He was seriously unprepared. I was thoroughly disappointed.
When the witch called him a racist, not once, but twice, OMG, I would have lost it. But, he said almost nothing.
They threw Trump a watermelon-sized softball on cyber security and he took it for a strike three.
Trump disappointed me tonight. He had so many openings to send her reeling and didn't take them even with as little time to talk as he had vs. Billary. The moderator sucked being on the Hillary team 100%.
Trump had better be prepared for the next debate if Hillary decides to show up and not be sick. All in all probably a draw but Trump went down without swinging so many times. He should have known Hillary would lie and say anything and he should have been better prepared to call he and everyone out. Instead he felt he had to defend himself when the guilty and lying arse party was right next to him (like on being for the Iraq war....cyber attack issue..) He failed IMHO.
His strength is attacking, branding, belittling. I think he's either forgotten this, or was a Clinton plant.

Everyone on the planet knew something like this was going to happen. During the primary he could lie low in the weeds and pick and choose the questions or comments he wanted to comment on because there were ten other people on the stage willing to jump in and answer. It's just as I was suffering through that disaster last night, I couldn't come up with any explanation as to how Trump could be as inept as he was.

Because my own integrity means more to me than just parroting what I WOULD like to be true, I have to say....KKK won the debate.
Trump landed some blows, had some good moments, but Klinton was prepared, and after all she is a career politician. This was her 15th one-on-one general election debate, and this was his very first. And, it showed.
Yes, it is true the so-called moderator helped KKK. He is a typical lamestream libtard media-type, so of course he wants her to win. But, complaining about that is like complaining about a few calls by the refs in a football game you just lost 42-27. If this had been a FB game, that would have been the final KKK 42 Trump 27. He had some moments, had some chances to make a real game of it, but he fumbled away those chances.
Now, remember, Romney smoked obummer in their first debate. It wasn't even close. But, obummer rallied, Romney choked, and obummer won the next several debates and the election. So, Trump can salvage this thing. Two debates left. He has to win both....period.
And no wonder, we are talking about an NBC-ABC-CBS level production, which are hard-lined Democratic media organizations. I don't know if a Republican media organization like Fox is hosting a debate to give balance, but a more neutral host would be an oversees company, maybe BBC.
Trump was himself last night. Not sure why anybody expected him to suddenly turn into the great political debate guy. She threw him some softballs that he missed on. She was on the defensive all night with her only rebuttals being more lies...and of course she couldn't wait to call all America a bunch of racists.
Old Trump would have said Crooked Hillary at least 3 times. He's not going to win on substance... needs to treat her like he did Little Marco, Low energy Jeb, Fat Christie, Ugly Rand, and Lyin Ted... he's a brander.
Which is what most of us have been warning about for more than a year. Himself is not very compelling. He refuses to reach out to more than his base. It's a losing strategy.
