3. Higgins #14 stats 1224 in 3 games ALL OTHERS HAVE 4 GAMES except TT qb

I still would rather see J'Mar as our QB, but Higgins stats shouldn't be ignored. He is playing well.

Now, is that more a credit to who he is throwing to and their ability to get yards after the catch, or is he really succeeding as a good QB? Either way, he is having a good season so far and it should be recognized.

old saying is statistics are like a lampost to a drunk--more for support than illumination.
That said-- I think Trent Taylor-Craft and rest of team deserve to have a shot at this year --not future. Trent in my opinion has a shot at Balitnikof award..
We are undefeated in our division-- lets win the thing and play in conference championship. we have 8 winnable game left and several of these games gives us a chance to let Wilson and Smith battle it out if we can get up . We have seen Coach recruit qbs-- so its not a given that a frosh will be next yrs guy.
all I am saying is lets win this year and let the future take care of itself ... I really want to see 3 bowl games in a row

Agreed '65... Poor kid was rushed into service as a freshman (creating a baseline for bashers) made a big mistake off the field as a red-shirt senior (opening door for the future and adding fuel to the bashing and distrust), had the student section calling for his back up after a half of football played after a 4-hr weather delay and he still busts his ass on the field and professes his love for his school and teammates off the field... damndest thing I have ever seen.
