Holtz may be able to read the defense when the play is setup, but when the ball is about to be snapped, its too late for him to help Higgins. Higgins needs to make adjustments. Which he should have when the sack came. But either he was too unfocused, too injured, or too slow to adapt.

It has been 5 years, Ryan aint making the adjustment if he hasn't made it yet.

I'm not predicting 7-0 but feel the NEED for it. We can still play for the CUSA championship if Skip can get the choo choo on track.

I know you are die hard-- don't give up yet - we have 7 games coming that we will be big favorites -except WK-- We have zero losses in our division and now the games begin to win division .. I still remember winning a game last yr over a lousy team because they missed field goal at end so obviously nothing is certain. I am trying to stay upbeat but this D is too much like a Dykes D. Ah yeah, now 1-3 makes more sense.

My guess is those rankings are not too far off compared to last year's defense except we'd probably be 40 spots higher in turnovers gained. Thanks for posting that.
