The last time we played WKU at home I thought our crowd was instrumental in the win. The Hilltoppers never seemed comfortable and folded under the multiplied pressure. Then, I've seen times where it seemed to have little to no effect on the opponent (Southern Miss). Of course, weather seems to impact our fickle fanbase (in terms of attendance and intensity). This is our biggest home game of the season. I actually think the Thursday night game might help in terms of our east side rowdies (students). Last year's game against Southern Miss was virtually void of student impact. This will be a factor in the game imo. Anybody have a feel as to whether the students will show up in full fervor? I think the late kick might help in terms of east side participation. It will definitely diminish the west side. Historically speaking, the east side is key. But will it give us the edge?
