[QUOTE=Fire Skip Holtz;1611733]We lost to Middle Tennessee and the decision has worked out very well??? Seriously???

First of all -- no one will take your post seriously because of your idiotic FSH take-- we have shot at third straight yr of 9 wins and never in history of Tech 3 straight bowl games ( 2 bowl wins in row). Coach has done a great recruiting job and we have seen ULL-ULM -Tulane fade into insignificance. We saw 7 players from last yr try out for pros and all 7 on roster . We just beat a team that has won 12-14 straight conference games and ..... Enough already. If you want to be taken seriously by most of BBB start over and rename yourself--- It will take a few posts before we write you off as either a troll or ... Whatever

. BEST post of month!! He's a troll or .... He needs to lose the idiot handle -- grow up -- learn at least a little about football and start over. Who can take him serious. Back to back 9-3 bowl wins and most folks like the recruiting classes. He also recognized for traveling non stop to raise millions for program. Our AD and President credit him for all he does beside coaching and the family he has created for team and coaches. BEST post of month

And Higgins will only get better with Tim Terrific as his coach

Re: Is Higgins still not the answer?

I will say I am glad Higgins is doing well. A few times he has been lucky that a defender dropped an errant pass. Every QB has that happen some time. Hitting his receivers in stride on Thursday is what I was waiting to see and finally did. I think one thing that causes us to focus so much on the times our offense comes up short is that we know it can improve. It's tougher to gripe about defensive or special teams woes that have become more the norm and it appears there is no fixing it. We can mask it from time to time, like having Barnes put it through the uprights on kickoffs instead of directional kicking to the 5 yard line and giving up a 30 yard return. Other than that, we lack the personnel, the coaching, or both that are required to truly fix it.

But I don't remember him being called out for that.

Higgins has been a pleasant surprise, and I hope his success continues.
. Explanation:: being silly ( as grandkids say) I was frustrated because I knew he was converted from offense to defense and learning position. had offers from every Mississipi team. I went goofy and started Adarius Barnes fan club and said I would speak at his NFL hall of fame induction. Over years my friends still kid me about Adarius
If you want to get my dumb ass prediction-- I expected Scotty Young QB to be awesome - total bust. He roomed with my nephew at TT I also thought the LSU lineman was going to be great. So mentioning AD because he's only one I got right
