I appreciate your effort but it just won't happened. we have got a handful of posters that will never appreciate what he is doing. I , like everyone else was frustrated when we burned the clock in fourth quarter BUT what coach would not with a 21 point lead? ( except Dykes) -- so Higgins is responsible for running plays that were called? Imagine if we had a pick or turnover ( bad enough a blocked kick for td). Higgins is having one of best years I have seen in 50yrs-- I visited with WK folks ( all had kids on team) and they think Trent is awesome and Higgins is best qb in conference .. Collardgreens, Adarius Barnes is in pros and for a long time a handful of posters wanted him benched.
Last thing, in his career at Tech Terry B thru more picks than TDs-- 6 in one game ) S Miss on Thanksgiving game. Imagine the posts he would have received.
I started thread about how well he was playing and it lasted 1-2 pages . Negativity sells papers and seems threads downgrading any player or coach does much better

Why do you keep bringing up Adarius Barnes? He had a terrible game against NC State so people criticized that performance,including me. I believe I stated later in the year that you were right about Barnes, and I believe other posters did too. But, what were Barnes's stats last year? He did not have a good year. But I don't remember him being called out for that.

Higgins has been a pleasant surprise, and I hope his success continues.

We weren't favored, but we certainly mailed that one in at the end. Hopefully that is as bad as it gets this year! I can honestly say this is NOT a team I would ever bet money on- for or against.

Most everbody including the Tech players thought we would lose the USM game when they ran out on the field.

I think he meant UTSA because we were almost embarrassed by a horrible team. Had to kick a FG to win in the end. HCSH never stepped on their neck.

I remember the last few UTSA games. They've been hectic. But most of us expected to win the MTSU game this year, and they were favored only because of the home advantage. Our collapse was a definite WTF moment.

I thought we should have won the USM game last year. We just collapse at the end of the 3rd quarter, and got careless trying to correct ourselves.

When your players cause turnovers, or drop the ball and have to lose momentum, that's at least partially on them, whether injury or lack of focus. The game is a team sport, where the players are guided by the coaches.
