BVDV gave Grambling control of the tickets and gate. We never got an accurate count. There is no telling how much money we lost on that deal.

My guess is Grambling now has leadership we can actually deal with and that cares about the community. Hope it works out well for everybody.

No doubt he's a politician but I've always found him to be someone you could work with. As far as representing and supporting the needs of Claiborne Parish I thought he did well. Maybe he can straighten out some of the mess at Grambling.

By playing in Ruston, GSU probably will make as much money as playing in Shreveport without the hassle of managing the game. The economic impact for Lincoln Parish will be an undeniable positive over playing in Shreveport.

I agree. This is a great example of a local community putting its own assets to work for its own benefit. The timing is right, and nothing but good should come from this.

I think it actually less impact than home games for both. No away teams coming in that don't already live here.

So basically we'd have to completely redo the structure of the videoboard and possibly just get a new one. I love the look of it, it looks great. I hope it comes to fruition.
